Stephen Kovacevich tours Australia and New Zealand

Making a long-awaited return ‘down under’, Stephen Kovacevich will begin his four week tour in Christchurch performing at The Piano on 9 July (with all proceeds to be donated to the victims and their families of the Christchurch Mosque shootings). Kovacevich will then travel to the North Island to perform at the Auckland War Memorial Museum on 12 July.

The Australian leg of the tour will see him playing at the world renowned Melbourne Recital Centre on 17 July (with a masterclass on 15 July at the MRC) followed by the Queensland Conservatorium Theatre in Brisbane on 20 July (as part of the Medici Concert Series) and finishing off in Adelaide at the Elder Hall on 25 July (as part of the Morgans International Piano Series) preceded with a masterclass at the prestigious Marryatville High School on 23 July.

Stephen will perform Bach’s Partita No 4, Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No 31, Op110 and Schubert’s Piano Sonata in B flat Major, D960.
