Jacek Kaspszyk opens the Warsaw Philharmonic’s 2018/19 season

Polish conductor Jacek Kaspszyk leads the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra for its 2018/19 season opening with two performances at the Philharmonic Hall Warsaw on 5 & 6 October. Kaspszyk has been the Warsaw Philharmonic’s Music & Artistic Director since the 2013-2014 season.

The programme features Lutosławski’s Fanfare for Los Angeles Philharmonic, the world première of Eugeniusz Knapik’s Blessing gentle breeze, composed specially for this occasion, and Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No 2 with pianist Seong-Jin Cho.
